DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the world of basic embroidery and take your first steps in Nordic embroidery\, a tradition for embellishing fabrics and tea towels made from honeycomb. During the class you will have a chance to try simple stitches with your own hands.  \nThe course is suitable for everyone from age 6 and up\, and no experience of any kind in embroidery or sewing is required. In Finnish schools\, this type of embroidery is the first work learned around age 7.  \nMaterials included: test fabric\, colored threads and the ‘needle. \nIf you want you can bring your own honeycomb item to decorate it\, for example a shopper or towel\, etc. Otherwise you can order at the time of confirmation a 30×50 cm towel or shopper bag. \nThe course will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 registrations. \nNordic coffee with cinnamon swirls will be served during the class. \nCost 6.55 euros per participant.

It is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that synchronizes breath with movement\, creating a continuous sequence of poses called asanas\, promoting physical and mental well-being. \nFinland connect a love of pristine nature and the latest technology\, creating a range of products for your everyday health and vitality! During the brunch\, there will be a presentation of Soluni products\, including a new patented Nova skincare product. \nValentina Torregrossa is a certified yoga teacher (Hatha yoga and gentler Vinyasa yoga)\, children’s yoga (Balyayoga)\, and Pilates (matwork and Pilates with equipment). \nShe has been teaching yoga and Pilates since 2017 and has worked at various yoga studios in Lombardy and Piedmont. Her flow practice is characterized by sequential asanas\, performed fluidly\, gracefully transitioning from one pose to the next\, while respecting the breath. Chiara Caprettini is a writer\, sommelier\, photographer\, and\, above all\, a Nordic enthusiast. She founded her food blog NORDFOODOVESTEST in 2015. She published a book about her trip to the Nordic countries\, “Bread\, Butter\, and Hygge\,” and we will listen to her stories\, the book presentation\, and her Nordic experiences via video link. There will be the opportunity to purchase the book with the author’s autograph. \nOur partner BALTICBAR\, a renowned Nordic restaurant in Milan\, will prepare smørrebrød recipes with Arctic ingredients. Smørrebrød is a culinary tradition originating in Denmark\, consisting of bread\, butter\, and various ingredients. We’ll enjoy Smørrebrød with authentic Kukko beer. Our Kukko beer is gluten-free and alcohol-free. Kukko is a Finnish beer brand from Laitila. Music is their great passion: they play guitar\, piano and ukulele\, and sing. Sinimari is also interested in theater and is participating in the English Theatre workshop in Milan for the second year\, where she also composes the music for this season’s show. She also sings in the Vox Mundi choir. Niklas is a music producer\, composer and lyricist. Nik&Blu’s lyrics are their own and feature strong intertextuality between Greek mythology\, Shakespeare and texts by various philosophers. \nWe are waiting for you to enjoy authentic Nordic flavors with engaging live music!

Every forest\, lake\, and rock tells stories of courage\, resilience\, and Finnish wisdom. Here\, silence becomes music\, the sauna becomes meditation\, and nature opens secret doors to creativity and joy. \nMythological Finland is more than a place: it’s an experience. The music is Marc Anthony’s composition\, “Valio La Pena\,” and the choreography of the work is by dance teacher Mia Siivonen.  \nDuring the aperitivo\, you will sample delicacies of the Nordic Christmas season and discuss\, among other things\, the Christmas culture prevalent there\, which differs from the traditional Italian corporate dinner.
