NORDIK.HOUSE Literary Smørrebrød

A literary and gastronomic event created with Chiara Caprettini, a food blogger and Nordic enthusiast, to sample the famous smørrebrød and Nordic Kukko beer. Chiara Caprettini is a writer, sommelier, photographer, and, above all, a Nordic enthusiast. She founded her food blog NORDFOODOVESTEST in 2015. She published a book about her trip to the Nordic countries, “Bread, Butter, and Hygge,” and we will listen to her stories, the book presentation, and her Nordic experiences via video link. There will be the opportunity to purchase the book with the author’s autograph.

Our partner BALTICBAR, a renowned Nordic restaurant in Milan, will prepare smørrebrød recipes with Arctic ingredients. Smørrebrød is a culinary tradition originating in Denmark, consisting of bread, butter, and various ingredients. We’ll enjoy Smørrebrød with authentic Kukko beer. Our Kukko beer is gluten-free and alcohol-free. Kukko is a Finnish beer brand from Laitila. It’s a pioneer in producing high-quality gluten-free beer that retains the authentic taste of craft beer.

The event is organized in collaboration with NordFoodOvestEst, Groix&Nature, and Alpin Herbs and Kukko.
